Alabama vs. Auburn Game Day picture show
Auburn Breaks The Tide 28-23
Brodie Croyle (#12 So. QB, 6-3 200 lbs. Rainbow City, AL - Westbrook Christian High)

Quarterback Brodie Croyle played well, but threw a costly interception in the fourth quarter
These comments came following the 2003 Auburn game as Brodie Croyle answered questions from the press pool ...
Press Pool … How much confidence do you have in this staff to turn this program around?
Brodie Croyle … They came here in the worst circumstances probably in college football history. Just the fact that they’ve got us to play as well as we have is a tribute to them. It’s up to us to go out there and make the plays. There were some opportunities where we haven’t done it.
How tough was it game-by-game not being able to audible on plays that you normally would in a certain situation?
We haven’t had many audibles at all. Learning the offense by itself was tough enough. Hopefully, we can install some more things in the Spring and get a winning streak started next weekend.
How good is the Auburn defense?
They’re very good. We knew they were fast, but they surprised us a little bit with how fast their linebackers really were. We came in at halftime and tried to make some adjustments by making them go in different directions. It worked there for a couple of series and we pulled of some big runs. But they responded and made some big plays.
Personnel-wise, what do you need from a recruiting standpoint?
We need a lot of guys that come in to step up. I’m not in charge of recruiting, so I’m not gonna say what we need. But, whoever it is, they’ve got an opportunity to come in and play for sure.
