picture - Tim Castille had two touchdowns against MTSU

These post comments came as Tim Castille answered questions from the press pool ...

Tim Castille ... (talking about the difference between practice and game speed) The game is going to speed up when you come and play against a real team. We just had to adjust to that. It shouldn't take a half but it. We just had to get things rolling and do a better job.

Press Pool ... Kenneth Darby got some big runs there in the second half. What happened? Was it more of an inside blocking ...

Ummm ... no. We just decided to run the ball straight at them a little more and really make a decision that this is what we're going to do. That's what I think was the difference between the first half and the second half. We just came in and decided we're going to run the ball straight at them and it ended up working in our favor.

What did it mean to you to get the touchdowns?

Well, getting in the endzone is always fun. You can't complain about scoring touchdowns, even if they are just one yard (laughs)! I just feel bad for KD (Kenneth Darby) because he doesn all the work, and then me and LeRon (McClain) just punch it in. I tell him that he has to finish on his runs, or I'm going to steal all his touchdowns (laughs).

Are you going to become Alabama's Jerome Bettis?

Scoring touchdowns is not a problem with me. I do my job. They send me in with two tights and do short yardage and that's what I do.

Is that the power package?

Yeah, we put that in last year and I think it worked out well. When we need a yard or two, we bascially just have to fall forward. Me and LeRon are each about 245 so it usually works out well.
