Commenting on the sideline altercation ...

It's definitely nice to know your teammate have your back like that. They chose the wrong sideline to do that on, and actually it was right in the middle of the wrong people to be around too. So I think maybe he'll look at tape and realize it wasn't a smart move on his part.

How does it feel to see this offense continue to sprout its wings in the sense that it's not just a running game.

I enjoy it a lot. It just shows how much we've evolved as an offense, knowing that if a defense comes in and takes away one phase of our game, we can hurt them with another. I think that just shows how versatile our offense is. You've got to give credit to the offensive coaches. If one thing's not working, you know they're not going to pound it and try to make it work. They'll go to something else that works. That's the good thing about this offense.

A couple of times I saw you literally with your hand on Justin Smiley's back. How great is that to have a line that you feel like can block for you any day?

I don't know if you know, but last week we came up with a name for the line, which is now known as "Federal Express" because they deliver. Those guys have delivered all year and when you run behind guys like that, who take so much pride in doing their job and blocking, you just run so hard because you want to make their effort worthwhile. Today, there was probably two or three times I had my hand on Justin's back and I was just right there with him.

Officially, you can't make it to the West title. But in the back of your minds, are you playing for the championship the next two games?

I definitely think so. We're playing good right now, and they are as well. It's going to be a big challenge for us to go down there to Baton Rouge and try to come away with a win. Like I said, they are playing really well right now and they're on a roll. It's just another obstacle that we're going to have to face.

Are you a little extra fired up knowing that you can't win it and this is your chance to play spoiler the next two weeks?

Yes sir! There's no doubt. It's like I've always said. We want to be the best team not going to the SEC Championship. We want to be the best team not in a bowl game at the end of the year. I think if we can keep playing the way we are now, that's how it will be at the end of the season.
