Kindal Moorehead (#54 Sr. DE 6-4 304 lbs. Memphis, TN - Memphis High School)

On the interception touchdown return ...
Kindal Moorehead - We felt like momentum changed. We knew on the sidelines that we needed to go back out there and make a play. Charlie Peprah, he made the play that needed to be made. But then they came back and made the plays they needed to make to win.
Reporter - Did you guys feel like you had momentum in your hands after the interception?
We did. But we knew they are the Number 6 ranked team in the country. They had to make a play and they did it.
How big were those penalties. Obviously, you had a couple of chances there to score ...
Big. Real big.
How frustrating is it when you guys score a touchdown and it gets called back.
Well, it's real frustrating. But you've got to understand, that's all part of the game. Those are small mistake that we need to go in this week and correct.
How good is this Georgia team compared to other teams you have faced this year?
I ain't gonna say ... well, they're a pretty good football team, and I'll just leave it at that.
I know Georgia's line was going on a different count. Can you elaborate on things they were doing to keep you off balance?
Like on their shotgun, they'll come up and check-off, like they knew exactly what defense we were going to be in. When he went under the center, he went mostly to the quick count. He kind of mixed it up back and forth to try and keep us backing up and not going forward.
Were they (Georgia's offensive line) as physical as you thought they would be?
I think they were basically what we expected, you know, five good seniors up front who knew what they wanted to do. And they went out there and did it.
They way they ran the ball on you, was that surprising?
Yeah, it surprised us a little bit. But we knew we were playing a good football team. They're the Number 6 team in the nation. There was a whole lot of talk about our defensive line, and those statements made in the newspaper. I know they had that over there in Georgia, reading that. I know they wanted to come out and make a statement and really try to run the football.
