Tyler Watts (#14 Sr. QB, 6-3 220 lbs. Pelham, AL - Pelham High School)

More of the thousands of questions senior quarterback Tyler Watts has answered in his Alabama career.

These comments came during post game media interviews ...

We had our opportunities and just didn't take advantage of them.

Fran said they kept you out of sync all day. How did you feel about that. There were a couple of throws that you've been able to make the past few weeks that didn't work today.

Well, sometimes stuff like that happens. You hate for it to happen. But they did an excellent job, and you never know how valuable every play is, but they are. Every snap is important and ultimately it affects the outcome of the game.

What would you like people to know about this team coming off a loss like this?

We're not frontrunners. We don't just play good when things are going good. If anything, we're gonna bow our necks right now and get back to working hard and get ready for next week.

Can you comment on the penalties?

They kill drives, that's all there is to it. We would have a big play and then a yellow flag would come out. Anytime that happens, it takes something that was good and backs it up. It's never good. It's something we have struggled with at times over the course of the year and have always been able to overcome. But tonight, we just weren't able to.
